Exciting New Plans from Blue Cross of California

Exciting News - Blue Cross of California is offering Lumenos consumer-driven health plans (CDHPs) for both Individual and Small Group businesses in California.
Blue Cross’ Lumenos plans will include fully integrated HSAs (Health Savings Accounts) as well as first dollar benefits in the form of their HIAs (Health Incentive Accounts).

Effective 5/1/2007 the Lumenos Small Group portfolio will offer:

  • HSA 1500 and 3000HIA
  • Plus 3000 with employer/plan contribution of $1,000/individual and $2,000/family

Effective 3/1/2007 the Lumenos Individual portfolio will offer:

  • HSA 1500, 2500, 3000 & 5000
  • HSA 1500, 2500, 3000 & 5000
  • HIA Plus 2500, 3000 & 5000

In addition, both Individual and Small Group plans offer:

  • 100% coverage for nationally recommended preventive care services (in-network)
  • For HIA plans: unused HIA funds roll over to the next year – with no limit on the carryover amount!
